100-W converter offers 14.4 to 36-Vdc inputs
The 100-W, 1/4-brick CN100A24 dc/dc converter modules operate from a 14.4 to 36-Vdc input, and target the railway industry. They are available with output voltages of 5, 12, 15 or 24-Vdc (adjustable ±10%). The modules are suitable for rolling stock and trackside equipment, enabling user’s to design cost-effective EN50155 compliant systems.
The dc/dc converter modules are designed for harsh environments, and meet the shock and vibration requirements of IEC61373 Category 1, Grade B. These baseplate-cooled power converters have standard pin-outs and provide full output power from −40 to +100C at the baseplate without deratings. It delivers 8.4 A at 12 Vdc with a conversion efficiency of 88% at full load. The modules measure 1.45 x 2.28 in. and are 0.50 in. high. (From $124/ea 100 available now.)
