SBC design platform has FPGA, Cortex-A8

The DK-FPGA1651 single-board-computer development platform features a Xilinx Spartan 6 FPGA and a Freescale i.MX515 ARM Cortex-A8 processor with 512 Mbytes of SDRAM. The kit is aimed at accelerating development of FPGA-based applications for low-power embedded systems.

Designers can implement I/O such as UARTs, DIO, and/or CAN in the FPGA and interface through 64 bi-directional signals mapped directly from the FPGA to headers. There are also dual 10/100BaseT front panel ports, four RS232/RS485 transceivers, and five differential LVDS channels for I/O expansion. The Spartan 6 and the i.MX515 are connected via a fast memory bus. (From $1695 — available now.)
