The 4-Tbyte GoFlex Desk STAC4000100 external hard drive is said to be the highest capacity HDD in the industry. The unit features a streamlined industrial design that yields a smaller footprint.

The 7200-rpm 3.5-in. drive with five platters has a USB 3.0 interface (with FireWire 800 coming soon) and 192-bit triple DES encryption. It comes with a full 2-year warranty. ($250 MSRP — available November.)
