Resistive touchscreen controller uses USB

The mTouch AR1100 analog resistive touchscreen controller has a USB/RS-232 interface and supports all 4-, 5-, and 8-wire touchscreens. Free drivers are provided for Windows CE, Linux, and Android. The device operates from –40° to 85°C from a 3.3 to 5.0-V supply.

The chip has an internal clock and a low-power wake-up function. It is available in 20-pin SOIC, SSOP and QFN packages. The devices calibration function issues touch reports that modify sensor orientation and precisely map the reported touch location to the underlying display device.
