LED lamps can indicate light-rail door status
Developed as a drop-in replacement for 895-style incandescent bulbs used in door-status indicators on light-rail car exteriors, the 895L-X-M3 series LED lamp can reliably provide 180° visibility in critical high vibration, harsh applications. The units meet industry sunlight-visibility and viewing-angle standards, last significantly longer than incandescent bulbs in the environment, and are available in red, amber, turquoise, blue, warm white, and lunar white.
Designed to operate at 37.5 Vdc and 45 mA, each 895L LED lamp includes an internal voltage regulator to allow even illumination with the 20 to 45-Vdc voltage fluctuations common in rail applications. Additional circuitry protects the lamp from transient spikes and noise. ($49 ea/500 — available now.)
