Software has vibration logger function built-in
A broad collection of analysis and signal processing tools for machine condition monitoring (MCM), audio test, and noise-vibration-harshness (NVH) testing, Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite 2011 has a ready-to-run vibration data-logging virtual instrument. The logger can save data continuously, or when called to action by specific criteria such as triggers or time.
The suite also includes the Sound and Vibration Assistant — a stand-alone module for quickly acquiring, analyzing, and logging acoustic, noise and vibration data — and easy-to-use application examples for impact test and swept sine analysis. Engineers can use the suite as stand-alone software or combine it with LabVIEW and NI hardware. (From $4,119 — available now.)
