Dc/dc converters offer high I/O isolation

The ASC200EHI series of miniature 2-W dc/dc converters suits board-level applications requiring high I/O isolation and small size. Nine standard models operate from 5-, 12-, or 24-Vdc inputs, providing single outputs of 5, 12, or 15 Vdc. The converters are packaged in a 0.94 x 0.60 x 0.295-in. case.

Standard features include short-circuit protection, of 6,000-Vdc input/output isolation. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) is greater than 3.5 Mhours. Operating temperatures range extends from –40° to 85°C (ambient). The converters suit IGBT drive systems, test instrumentation, and board-level power distribution subsystem applications.
