USB 2.0 connectors are latched, sealed

The addition of latching and circular sealing to industrial USB 2.0 connectors provides 40 N of locking strength and 1,500 mating and unmating cycles. Latching eliminates accidental unplugging for such mobile applications as handheld devices with controller-to-peripheral interconnection.

The circular sealed version of USB 2.0 plugs and receptacles provide an environmentally protected USB for field data collection systems, keyboard, video mouse extensions, human-machine interfaces, and industrial control panels, protecting against water and dust ingress to IP67 level.
