750-W supply enables switchgear motor start-up

The HBC 319-A/125FTS ac/dc power supply delivers 750-W peak output power without fan cooling. It suits the high peak-power for the start-up of electric switchgear motors.

750-W supply enables switchgear motor start-up

The industrial grade power supply generates 125 Vdc at 4 A, with 6–A peak-current for 30 s during the motor start-up stage. Several modules can be connected in parallel for higher output current to ensure that output voltage remains constant at 125 Vdc, even during the high peak load. The input accepts 115 Vac (97 to 132 Vac) with an optional 230-Vac input. A built-in redundancy diode provides separation between the units if used in multiple-configuration. The supply is housed in a conduction- /convection-cooled 130 x 64 x 353-mm chassis. It meets EN61373/IEC61373 shock and vibration standards. ($350 ea/small qty — available now.)
