HB LED modules target high-W halogen, metal-halide lamps
The XLM LED modules can be driven at 1 A to provide 3,000 or 4,000-lm outputs, providing light levels sufficient to replace high-wattage halogen and metal halide lamps while consuming only 41.6 W. Available in color temperatures of 3,000K, 3,500K, and 4,000K, all versions have a CRI greater than 80 to provide good color rendition.
Driven at 1 A, the XLM 3000lm and 4000lm versions have an efficacies of 72 and 67 lm/W, respectively. For increased efficacy, the modules can be driven at 350 mA, in which case their respective efficacies are 93 and 86 lm/W, their outputs are 1250 and 1650 lm, and their power consumption is 13.4 and 19.2 W.
Each unit has two channels that can be driven in series, or individually for greater lighting control. The modules are designed for easy integration into daylight-harvesting, dimming, and demand-response building automation schemes, and suit wall-washing, high-ceiling-accent, indirect-up-lighting, and architectural-flood-lighting applications. The housing consists of die-cast aluminum with a sealed glass aperture, and is IP66 rated. (Contact Ron Steen for pricing — available now.)
