Murata expands North American distribution agreement with Future Electronics

Focus on power products for industrial applications, lighting and energy markets

Smyrna, GA, January 5, 2012 – Murata Electronics North America today announced that it has expanded its distribution agreement with Future Electronics, Inc. to include the company’s power solutions offerings. Future Electronics has significant experience in the industrial applications, lighting and energy markets, which is coupled with class-leading sales training, logistical resources and solutions support. This agreement builds on a relationship with the distributor that was first established in 1994.

“This expanded arrangement is a further step in the alignment of our sales channel in North America. Future Electronics has a proven record of servicing our customers with our entire portfolio of passive electronic components. The addition of Murata’s power products is a natural extension,” stated Tony Coalson, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Murata Electronics North America.
