Resistors deliver high power-to-size ratio

Flameproof RNS Series 1W resistors have an EIA standard ¼-W body size, while the RNS 2W has an EIA standard ½-W body size. The resistors achieve high power-handling performance through tight manufacturing control of a power film alloy and are capable of precision tolerances down to 0.5% and TCRs as low as 25 ppm.

Applications include home appliances, solid-state power supplies, instrumentation, safety equipment, welding systems, robotics, and industrial power and control applications where robust performance by an axially leaded resistor under harsh environmental conditions is desired.
