The VESA vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) is presented as the first all electromagnetically operated system for 25- and 15-kV trains, eliminating conventional mechanical, pneumatic circuit breaker disadvantages. VESA VCB performance is qualified for high- and medium-speed trains worldwide.
