The zQSFP+ (z-Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus) connector and cage assembly meets next-generation 100-Gbit/s Ethernet (100 GbE) and 100-Gbit/s 4X InfiniBand Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) requirements, with four lanes of high-speed differential signals and 25 to 40-Gbit/s data rates. Backward compatible with current QSFP+ optical modules and cable assemblies, the connector provides EMI protection and withstands lead-free processing.
The device has a mating force of 40 N, durability of 250 cycles (minimum), operating temperature of –20° to 65°C, electrical current rating of 0.5 A per pin, and maximum voltage rating of 30 Vdc.
