Designed to meet NEMA 4X/IP66 ratings, the ML series consists of waterproof enclosures molded in UV-stabilized light gray polycarbonate. A form-fitting silicone gasket protects internal electronics from dust, dirt, and water, suiting the enclosures for outdoor application.
The cases currently come in two sizes — 7.6 x 4.6 x 3.0 in. (ML-47F) and 8.7 x 5.2 x 3.3 in. (ML-57F) — and have molded-on surface-mounting flanges and internal bosses for pc board mounting. The standard, smooth-finish cover is recessed for graphic overlays or membrane keypads, and a clear, distortion-free polycarbonate cover is optional. Also optional are NEMA 4X cable glands in seven sizes to accommodate 0.118- to 0.945-in.-diameter cables. The enclosures tolerate −40°C to 120°C and have a UL94V-0 flame rating.
