The ISLA112P50/55210EV1Z is a DAQ evaluation platform featuring the company’s high-speed FDA (fully differential amplifier) (ISL55210) and high-speed, low-power 12-bit, 500-Msample/s ADC (ISLA112P50). It provides ±0.5-dB flat response of 100 kHz to 100 MHz and a clock rate range of 200 to 500 Msamples/s. It can easily be used to power portable or USB-based communication test equipment or spectrum analyzers.
Intended to mate with the company’s KMB-001LEVALZ controller motherboard, the platform reduces the required full scale input signal to 200 mVp-p (-10 dBm) single-ended input while retaining the full ADC specified performance of 65-dB SNRFS and mid-80-dBc SFDR. The convergence of low-power design techniques in the ISL55210 amplifier and the Femtocharge technology in the ISLA112P50 ADC creates an ultra-low power signal-path solution, with total power consumption under 680 mW at 500 Msamples/s.
The KMB-001LEVALZ motherboard hosts a large range of the company’s high speed ADC evaluation daughterboards beyond this combined signal conditioning + ADC board.
