The Model HFE2500-48 power supply is certified to the 80 PLUS Platinum level for redundant, server, and data center applications, hot-pluggable and redundant power systems. They operate with a nominal 230Vac input and provide a 48 Vdc, 2,500W output and deliver 92% efficiency at 20% load, 94% efficiency at 50% load, >92% efficiency at 100% load, and a measured power factor of 0.97 at 50% load.
The supplies operate from 85 to 265 Vac input with active PFC and provide outputs of 12, 24 or 48 Vdc. With a 19–in. rack-mount enclosure, up to four supplies can be paralleled with automatic load-sharing to provide up to 9.5–kW output power. An optional integral MCU in each supply allows remote programming, monitoring, and status reporting via an isolated I2 C and PMBus interface. The supplies measure 1.61 x 4.21 x 12.8–in.
