Software optimizes network data traffic

VortiQa intelligent traffic classification and load balancing (ITCL) software for QorIQ processors increases network performance, optimizes resource utilization, and extends lifetime of network equipment. The software intelligently classifies and distributes data traffic flow throughout enterprise and data center network elements, including multiple value added services (VAS) nodes such as delivery controllers, security devices, data recorders, and optimization controllers.

The software is optimized for Freescale’s QorIQ P4080 and QorIQ AMP T4240 platforms using data path acceleration architecture (DPAA). The code provides bandwidth and power savings by dynamically engaging and disengaging VAS nodes according to demand. (Price not given available 4th qtr.)
