Fully differential amp drives 18-bit ADCs, consumes only 5 mW
Suited for precision industrial and data acquisition applications, the LTC6362 fully differential amplifier drives high precision 16- and 18-bit SAR ADCs at only 1-mA supply current. The part offers 200-μV max input offset voltage, 3.9-nV/√Hz input-referred noise, 260-nA max input bias current, and rail-to-rail inputs and outputs.
In addition, the part has an output common-mode pin with a 0.5 to 4.5-V range, and 18-bit settling time of 550 ns with an 8 Vp-p output step. The LTC6362 is available in MSOP-8 and 3 x 3-mm DFN packages, with fully guaranteed specifications over the 0° to 70°C, –40° to 85°C, and –40° to 125°C temperature ranges.
