Key switch combines SMT, IP67-sealing with backlighting
Available in LED backlighting with a wide selection of colors, and detect versions, the K12S key switch series provides a lifecycle of more than 1,000,000 actuations, making it ideal for demanding conditions often found in automotive, motorcycle, off-road transportation, industrial and medical applications. These IP67-sealed SMT switches feature abuse-proof contacts, 100-N overload resistance, and self-cleaning golden contacts.
The key switches offer an actuation force range of 1.5 to 15 N, with a total travel of 1.5 mm. The K12S series switches also maintain a wide range of contact arrangements (NO/NC and SPST/DPST). Customization options are available, including detect versions. The parts feature a maximum power rating of 3 Wdc and a minimum/maximum voltage of 2 to 30 Vdc, with a minimum/maximum current rating of 10 µA to 100 mA.
