32-bit MCUs feature precision analog, security
The STM32F373, STM32F372, STM32F303, STM32F302 microcontroller families have a 72-MHz Cortex-M4 core with single-cycle multiplication and HW division, DSP instructions with FPU, and a memory protection unit. All versions have a 0.20 μS 12-bit A/D converter and some also have three 16-bit Sigma Delta A/Ds with ten differential inputs.
They also feature seven 50 ns comparators, four programmable gain amplifiers with 1% accuracy, two 12-bit D/A converters and advanced motor-control timers running at up to 144MHz. The devices have 64 to 256 Kbytes of flash, CAN and USB 2.0 interfaces, and come in 48-, 64-, or 100-pin LQFP packages. Ambient operating temperatures of up to -40° to 105°C are optional. (From $2.24 to $3.86 ea/1,000 – available now.)
