64-Gig SATA SSD chip works at –40° to 85°C

The GLS85LS1064B is an industrial temperature range 64 Gbyte SATA embedded solid state drive IC using MLC NAND flash. Sequential data read is at up to 110 Mbytes/s and sequential write at up to 60 Mbytes/s and the device takes 820 mW typ; 210 mW in idle.

The IC can use SATA 1.5-Gbit/s or 3.0-Gbit/s I/O and includes a 10-byte factory-set serial number. It is also available in 8-, 16-, and 32-Gbyte versions and it comes in a 14.0 x 24.0 x 1.95-mm 145-ball, 1.0-mm-ball-pitch, FZJE package. (Price not given — samples available now.)
