CATV amp offers low distortion

The MAAM-010144 push-pull CATV amplifier is a GaAs MESFET MMIC part that features a small signal gain of 20.5 dB, a gain flatness of 0.6 dB, and a low noise figure of 5.5 dB. The MMIC design is configured as a pair of cascode MESFET amplifiers for broadband performance.

The amplifier is optimized at 75 Ω with an input return loss of 18 dB and an output return loss of 15 dB. Packaged in a TSSOP 16-lead exposed paddle package, the amplifier operates from 50 to 1,000 MHz. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
