Thin ultracap modules suit power conditioning
The THiNCAP iMOD modules are thin-cell ultracapacitors that suit power conditioning and automated guided vehicle (AGV), telecommunications, silicon and food production, renewable energy, hospitals and pharmaceutical applications. They consist of high power, thin, flexible ultracapacitor packs, instead of cylindrical cells.
The ultracapacitor modules cut charge times in half, and eliminate the need for battery replacement or charging. They replace or enhance common rack mount battery systems. The modules are compatible with all common rack enclosures, including 19–, 23–in. wide, and >20–in. depth. They also provide low equivalent series resistance for higher efficiency.
