Driver is optimized for high-C loads up to 5 W

The iW1816 AccuSwitch primary-side driver has an internal power switch rated to 800 V for universal ac-input. It has a digital pulse width modulation (PWM) driver that supports up to 6,000-µF loads at up to 5 W. The device includes an adaptively controlled soft start that enables fast start-up for output voltages from 5 to 12 V.
