The HMC-C072, HMC-C076, HMC-C077, and HMC-C079 GaAs HBT ultra-low phase noise amplifier modules are rated for 6 to 12 GHz, 7 to 11 GHz, 1.5 to 5.0 GHz, and 3 to 8 GHz, respectively. The modules phase noise contribution is as low as -180 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset, enabling superior modulation accuracy in high resolution radar and synthesizer applications.
The modules provide up to 14 dB gain and up to +34 dBm output IP3, with noise figure as low as 4.5 dB. Operating over the -55° to 85°C the miniature hermetic modules feature field replaceable SMA connectors, and operate from a single +7 V supply. They take 110 to 300 mA of bias current, depending on the model. ($1800 to $2100, qty 1 – available now.)
