1/4–brick supply offers 680–W output

The BQ series 1/4brick power supply features a maximum 680-W output with 96% conversion efficiency. It offers a patented buck-reset topology that is demonstrated with the sink-plate flexible thermal structure to get the best thermal performance and high power under extreme environmental conditions.

For the non-regulated IBA application, the model BQX096 with an output of 8 to 12 V/60 A and 370–W/in.3 power density, is 96% efficient at 40– to 60–V input voltage range. The model BQW065 delivers regulated 6.5 V/60 A output at 1% of voltage accuracy crossing at 36– to 75–V input range. It offers the world’s highest delivered current design in an industrial standard 1/4–brick package and footprint. Other features include 1.5–kVdc isolation rating between primary to secondary to meet international safeties including EN60950 and CSA/UL60950. ($50 ea/1,000 — available now.)
