More and more sensors are being added to smart devices and sophisticated software is required to realize the system performance benefits of a multiaxis sensor system. Smartphones and other mobile devices rely on compass readings based on combined data extracted from accelerometers and magnetometers.

The Xtrinsic eCompass software does just that with its advanced sensor fusion algorithms. Features include eCompass with tilt-compensation, roll, pitch, and compass angles; ANSI C source code (for maximum compatibility across processors and operating systems); and support for the Aerospace, Android, and Windows 8 coordinate systems.
