USB 2.0 host controller IC is easy to integrate
The FT313H USB 2.0 host controller supports Hi-Speed 480 Mbits/s operation and runs off a 3.3 V supply, with I/O levels adjustable between 1.8 and 3.3 V. It has 24 Kbyte RAM for data transfer and buffering and operates from -40 to 85C.
The IC draws about 78 mA when in full operation and just under 200 µA while in suspend mode. The 64-pin QFN, LQFP and TQFP packaged IC can use DMA and has a multiplexed interface for connection via either a general purpose 16-bit bus, NOR, or SRAM interfaces. ($1.75 ea/100,000 – available now.)
