Ethernet switch targets small/medium office

The BCM53346 SoC Ethernet switch for small-to-medium business networks has up to 24 multilayer GbE ports and four 10GbE XFI ports in a 29 x 29 mm package. The chip also has sixteen 1Gbit PHYs and a 400 MHz Cortex-A9 processor.
The chip has a packet buffer, a memory management unit, IEEE 1588 support, and L2, IPV4 or IPV6 L3 packet clsification. Two devices can be connected to build nonblocking 48x GbE switch systems with 4x 10GbE uplinks. Other versions include the the BCM53333, BCM53334, and BCM53344.
