Member of the nanoDAC products, the 16-bit AD5689R D/A converter features ±2-LSB-INL maximum and 2-ppm/°C 2.5-V reference in a 3 x 3-mm 16-lead LFCSP and 16-lead TSSOP packages. The part is suitable for optical transceivers, base station power amplifiers, industrial automation, and data acquisition systems.
Additional features include a low power of 3.3 mW at 3 V, 4-kV HBM and 1.5-kV FICDM ESD ratings, and a total unadjusted error of 2-mV which eliminates the need for initial calibration/adjustment. The AD5689R also includes useful pin functions such as VLOGIC facilitating 1.8-, 3- and 5-V logic levels and a GAIN pin enabling the output range to be doubled.
