The 160 CLA series of surface-mount polarized aluminum capacitors (example: MAL216099501E3; 470 µF, 16 V) feature operating temperature to +150 °C with very low impedance and a high ripple current ratting. Maximum impedance at 100 kHz is 0.035 Ω, ripple current is rated to 1.35 A.
The capacitors are available in 26 versions from 100 to 3300 µF at 16 to 50 V and have a non-solid, self-healing electrolyte. They come in six case sizes, ranging from 12.5 x 12.5 mm x 13 mm to the largest at 18 x 18 x 21 mm. (From $1.13 ea/1,250 – available now.)
