February 28, 2013 – Mouser Electronics, Inc. announced today that it will participate in the iMake Maker Fest, a family-friendly festival for all ages to create, invent, learn, think and be inspired by the creative, engineering-related impulse to make and re-make the everyday that is shaping the future. The first annual event in Tarrant County will be Saturday, March 2 at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, where Mouser participated in last week's Engineers Week.
The iMake festival, inspired by the popular Make magazine and the growing Maker movement, will include both interactive exhibits and demos. Makers of all ages will have the opportunity to investigate interesting circuitry, giving them an introduction into the workings of electronics and robotics. Mouser staff members will host a drawing on site where Makers can enter to win some great prizes, including the latest development boards from industry leading manufacturers, such as the popular Arduino Due Microcontroller Board.
