Designed to hold the credit-card-sized Raspberry Pi microcomputer, the PI-20xxx Series case from Polycase is now available molded in a metallic-blue, flame-retardant ABS plastic (GE Cycolac FXS630SK) for a unique new look. The textured case finish is resistant to fingerprints and scratching, and pricing is as low as $9.53 per unit.
The compact enclosure measures 3.0 x 4.0 x 1.4 in., and is designed to fit the Raspberry Pi Model B, holding the PCB captive while providing access to and labeling for each user-accessible board function. Included with the enclosure are five flush-mounted light pipes that project light from the board’s LEDs out the case's end panel. A 3-D model and 2-D drawings of the enclosure are available for free download from the company's Web site, and CNC machining and custom printing are available. (From 9.53 ea / 1,000 — available now.)
