Low-power MCU has up to 1 Mbyte of flash

The RX210 50-MHz low-power 32-bit microcontroller operates from a single 1.62 to 5.5-V supply. The chips supply current is 7 mA typ at 32 MHz and it has 64 to 1,000 Mbytes of flash.

The IC's 12-bit A/D converter has total error of ±0.75 LSB typ and ±4.5 LSB max over –40º to +105°C. Device peripherals include timers, motor control timers, a 10-bit D/A converter, DMA, an event system, and safety functions supporting IEC60730. A device with 1 Mbyte of flash and 96 K of RAM is priced at $5.13 ea/10,000.
