Automotive SoC has high performance graphics

The R-Car H2 automotive SoC features high performance 3D graphics capabilities and is one of the industry's first implementations of Quad ARM Cortex A15 and the big.LITTLE processing technique. The IC has powerful media hardware accelerators necessary for human-machine interface (HMI), navigation data, and movie/DVD handling, including the Imagination Technologies PowerVR Series6 G6400 GPU.

The FCBGA831 packaged IC has a highly efficient bus architecture with dedicated CPU and IP caches along with two independent DDR3-1600 32-bit interfaces. It has interfaces for Ethernet AVB, MOST-150, CAN, SATA, USB3.0/2.0, SDcard, and PCI Express. The IC also has a 24-bit DSP for high-quality audio processing and a GPS baseband engine for navigation.
