The smallest emergency phone charger in the world

Wireless device is slightly larger than a quarter

The Devotec Fuel Micro Charger is an emergency phone charger small enough to fit in the 5th pocket of your jeans, that otherwise useless pocket within a pocket. The device is ultra-light, weighing a little over half an ounce, and can provide enough power for approximately 20 to 30 extra minutes of talk time, a few hours of idle time, or the right amount to time to fire off that last minute e-mail to your boss. This device is the 21st century's alternative to storing pennies in your penny loafers for emergency calls; the Fuel is shaped like the spare gasoline canister in your trunk to justify its name.

The size
At just 1.3 by .9 by .5 inches, internal components are housed in a die-cast aluminum casing, ensuring the device is both durable and light.

What's inside
Months were spent testing and evaluating the Devotec Fuel Micro Charger to ensure that components are the smallest available on the market. Fuel incorporates a flexible-PCB, to shrink component size as much as possible and leave room for the largest battery that can fit.

The battery
The battery inside the Devotec Fuel Micro Charger is a 5C lithium-ion rechargeable battery that's rated at 220 milliamp hours. It can be recharged through a female micro-USB located on the bottom of the device, and will last for 500 cycles at the very minimum.

Devotec guarantees that the charge will sit in the battery for a minimum of one month if unused; although their calculations point closer to three ― this way your Fuel Micro Charger can be safely tucked away without needing to worry about it. Simply remember to charge the device before engaging in anything outside of your usual routine.

There is a power switch on the Fuel to turn off the device and avoid useless discharges. Additionally, three LEDs located on the side help you to recognize the condition of the battery: green indicates the battery is fully charged, blue that the power is on, and red indicates the fact that it’s still charging.

Phone compatibility
The Fuel uses a micro-USB connector to connect with any phone equipped with a female micro-USB jack. This includes the majority of phones from Samsung, LG, Sony, Motorola, Nokia and Blackberry but not Iphones, which use their own proprietary jacks.
