PowerPlex® Power Module Marine Digital Switching System

The well-proven PowerPlex® Power Module provides redundant protection for your on-board system. A total of 12 electrical loads per module can be controlled and monitored. The Power Modules incorporate a manual override feature for each 8 A and 25 A output by integrated electro-mechanical mini circuit breakers. This ensures limited operation of the installed system and provides additional security for safety-critical systems.  The module incorporates redundant protection as a special feature – termed Four Level Protection Concept (FLPC). This concept is based upon four types of overload protection: software-controlled overcurrent protection with current measurement, hardware-controlled safety disconnection, intrinsic protection of power transistors and thermal protective elements with manual switching function.
