Reliable compression connector handles 3 A

The 9155-100 (part #9155002100 or 9155003100) ultra-low-profile board-to-board compression power connectors are rated for 5,000 mating cycles. Featuring a 1.3-mm minimum operating height, they have 0.4-µm selective gold-plated BeCu contacts that are insert-molded within the insulator for location and mechanical stability.

The connectors have a sweeping contact design that provides a 0.7-mm Z-axis deflection range, a long contact wipe, and greater than 40 grams of contact force at minimum operating deflection. They are rated for 3 A per contact, 125 Vac, and a -40° to 105°C operating temperature range. They will be available in one-, two-, and three-position configurations in June.
