MIL-qualified connectors are more rugged

Qualified to MIL-DTL 38999L, 38999 (Class J & M) connectors are designed to exceed harsh-environment expectations, using composite construction to deliver four times the corrosion resistance of coonectors made with standard olive-drab cadmium or 50X nickel. The QPL-listed connectors are applicable not only in military systems, but also in commercial aviation, aerospace launch vehicles, hand-held and vehicle platforms, industrial heavy equipment, and railway systems.

The 100% scoop-proof connectors offer 3- to 128-way layouts with wire ranges from size 16 to 28, and can handle 1,000 to 2,300 Vrms at sea level at temperatures from -65°C to 200°C. Laser marking of cavity identification on a white background provides visual clarity for improved assembly accuracy. An anti-vibration system promotes greater ease of coupling while maintaining MIL-DTL-38999 reliability.
