The next Terrain Analysis Package (TAP) engineering seminar is scheduled for September 24-25, 2013, at the Courtyard Marriott Downtown in Louisville, KY. SoftWright has conducted regular engineering seminars for its clients since 1990. Each TAP engineering seminar is two full days of RF engineering instruction on how to design both coverage and path studies for VHF/UHF, paging, land mobile, PCS, cellular, SCADA, microwave and FM/TV broadcast transmitting facilities, and intermodulation prediction and treatment. In the sessions, you will operate the TAP RF system design software to solve numerous RF related problems. There is also a strong emphasis on how to formulate necessary engineering judgments in order to successfully design reliable RF systems. Many actual land mobile and microwave radio system design problems will be used to teach how to apply both the engineering principles and TAP software tools.
Louisville, KY, is drivable from many midwest cities, including St. Louis, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Nashville, and even Chicago. Louisville International Airport (Code: SDF) is served by many major airlines. The seminar is taught by SoftWright's Todd Summers, Ph.D., and provides 1.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The price for the two-day seminar is $1,300, with discounts available for attendees eligible to purchase via the company's GSA Schedule.
