SMD transient suppression device handles up to 300 Vrms

The PV series is a plastic encapsulated surface mount transient voltage suppression solution for working voltages from 11 to 300 Vrms. The device offers the 3225 and 4032 case sizes, which have equivalent electrical parameters to leaded disc types of size 5 and 7 respectively.

The varistors are UL recognized with the capability to handle up to 30-J of energy and maximum surge current ratings up to 1,200 A. The device is flameproof per UL 94V-0. It suits power supply, telecommunication, home appliance, utility meter, control, detector and sensor, and touch screen applications. Pricing ranges from $0.28 to $0.415, each in full reel quantities.
