Brushless servomotors feature compact size

The high-performance Faulhaber series 1218 brushless dc motor features a high power to size ratio. The 12-mm-diameter, 18-mm-long motor delivers continuous torque up to 1 mNm and has integrated digital Hall sensor feedback.

When combined with the planetary or spur gearheads, the output torque of the motor can reach 300 mNm. The motor comes in 6- or 12-V versions. The 12-V model (1218S012B) has a NL speed of 30,400 rpm, output power of 4.2 W, stall torque of 3.4 mNm, and a torque constant of 3.52 nMm/A. Its no-load current is 0.067 A, and its weight is 8.3 g.
