PFC module drives 300 Vdc input loads

The Univerter PFC-375 is a power factor correction module that operates from 85 to 265-Vac input voltages at 47 to 800 Hz with a power factor of 0.99. The module produces an output of 375 Vdc suitable for driving 300-Vdc input dc/dc converters for motors, pumps and other loads for land-, sea- and air-based applications.

The PFC module military and commercial aircraft power systems requiring MIL-STD-704 or DO-160 compliance. The half-brick package measures 2.4 x 2.3 x 0.5-in. and are suitable for harsh environments. It features 94% efficiency at 115-Vac and 400-Hz and 97% efficiency at 230-Vac and 50-Hz input. The operating temperature is -40° to 110°C with an option for -55° to 100°C.
