MCU features display control, USB, 12-bit A/D

The RL78/L1C (R5F110PEA) series of 33 DMIPs 16-bit MCUs integrate a 40/52 segment LCD display controller, USB 2.0, and a 9/13-channel 12-bit A/D converter. The devices have 64 to 256 Kbytes of flash and 8 to 16 Kbytes of RAM, and a two-channel 8-bit D/A converter.

The 24-MHz ICs run from a 1.6 to 3.6-V supply over -40° to 85°C, taking 112.5 µA/MHz, with RAM retained stop mode taking only 0.25 µA. It has a 1.45-V reference, a temperature sensor, and comes in an 80- or 100-pin 80-pin LQFP package. From $2.90 ea/10,000.
