Florida company Payton Planar Magnetics launched a new power supply design app this September, allowing users to communicate with Payton engineers, as well as use the Payton Request Form, in real time. The app is made to support engineers and technicians working in the field, by making Payton Request Forms available for use on a smartphone or tablet. The app eliminates the need for time-consuming paperwork and allows supply design engineers to simply and efficiently make their requests without stalling their work for an exhaustive period of time.
Used for requesting RFQs, or Request for Quote forms for Planar Magnetics transformers or inductors, the app was crafted by Payton for power supply design engineers or technicians always on the go and without time to spare, ensuring that whether they are at their lab, a workstation, or travelling, they can simply open the app and request what they need. They can also use the app to communicate with Planar Magnetics engineers, ensuring that their request will be fulfilled satisfactorily. The app opens up new and more effective channels between Payton and its client base, creating open communication that will allow engineers and technicians to more fully express what they are looking for.
