How to increase your social media influence using mobile apps

Pretty much everyone these days is plugged in twenty-four seven, making social media management essential nowadays to most businesses, corporations. and start-ups. Social media is a brilliant way to get users interested in what your company is currently doing or selling: when handled correctly. Using these mobile apps, social media managers should be able to influence more users and generate more hits than before.

Firstly, all social media managers should get comfortable with Evernote mobile apps. There are quite a few of them, all developed for specific purposes to help their users achieve their goals. While Evernote was not specifically developed for social media managers, using the Evernote mobile app, available for nearly every mobile device, users can create text, photo, and audio notes; clip web pages for later; and synchronize your notes. It’s a great way to keep all of your content organized, and to find or generate content for all of your social media sites.

Next, download Bufferapp immediately. For those social media managers familiar with Tumblr, Bufferapp is the mobile equivalent of you Tumblr queue for all of your social media sites, including Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and Google+. The app allows users to set custom times and days for posts to go out, so you always have content lined up to post if you find yourself busy with other duties. Your followers will see your posts and updates much more often.

Third, social media marketers should look into UberSocial — previously known as Twidroyd — for the iPhone and Android. This app is not for everybody — it is designed to help with Twitter and to a certain extent Facebook, though it is definitely more helpful with Twitter. It allows users to manage multiple social media accounts in one place, keep up to date with current hashtags without being glued to the site all day, and has a multitude of features designed to make managing and posting to Twitter a whole lot simpler.

Lastly, IFITT is definitely a helpful mobile app for social media marketing, but it can be a bit confusing for first-time users. The app allows users to create unique social media “recipes,” where managers can create one single post that goes out to all of their social media sites. It’s a profoundly useful and very innovative app, but it does take some getting used to.
