Eltek to exhibit industrial dc-power equipment at 2013 Power-Gen International Show

High-efficiency IBB-250 battery charger system will be featured in the Eltek booth 2070

Plano, TX – November 12, 2013 – Eltek, the world leader in high efficiency power systems for telecommunications and industrial applications today announced plans to exhibit its industrial DC power products at the Power-Gen International event being held November 12-14, 2013, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Eltek will be in Booth 2070, and will feature the IBB-250 Battery Charger System, one of its innovative Industrial Building Block (IBB) power products.

The IBB-250 delivers highly reliable DC power that is crucial for applications such as switchgear, power-control systems and a variety of other industrial uses that require DC power and battery charging. System efficiency of up to 96.6 percent significantly reduces energy usage, saving users on electricity costs.

The IBB 250 has a modular system architecture and supports up to 10 Flatpack2 HE (high efficiency) switch-mode, plug-in rectifiers for a capacity up to 200 amps at 125V, 24V or 48V. The IBB-250 Smartpack2 control system allows both local and remote system management, reporting and diagnostics.

“Battery charger offerings have been static for a long time, while customer needs for flexibility and high efficiency have changed dramatically. The Eltek Industrial Building Block family is optimized to meet these new needs,” said Lars Dousa, executive vice president of industrial power at Eltek. “We anticipate strong interest in this powerful system at the 2013 Power-Gen show.”

This year, POWER-GEN International celebrates its 25th anniversary. Exhibitors will be displaying a wide variety of power generation products and services, with key emphasis on industry trends, technologies and innovations for the future.

Eltek invites Power-Gen attendees to stop by Booth 2070 and meet the Eltek sales team.
