Syfer's new EMI Filters catalog has expanded technical information over previous editions. The book includes a quick reference guide, sectionalized in the same way as the main catalog for surface-mount EMI filters, panel-mount EMI filters, hermetic ceramic panel mount, resin-sealed metallized film panel mount, discoidal and planar arrays, and, lastly, special filters and assemblies.
For the last few editions, Syfer had been continually reducing the page count in the belief that customers would source the more detailed information from their website. However, this has shown to be false and the company has realized there is still strong demand for a full printed version. This latest version has doubled the page count of the last one. Each filter range now has more detailed information including insertion loss performance, electrical and mechanical details, and ordering information.
