20-bit A/D is fast, low power, and precise

The MAX11905 20-bit 1.6 Ms/s SAR A/D converter features high precision and high speed with power consumption of only 9 mW. The device achieves a 98.3 dB SNR and -123 dB THD at 10 KHz.

The chips integral nonlinearity is ±6 LSB while DNL is ±0.9 LSB (max, over temperature) and it has no-missing codes. The IC comes in a very small 4 x 4 mm TQFN20 package and includes a buffer for the reference input. It is specified over -40° to 85°C and starts at $33.95.
